The Warehouse Clerk reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for clerical activities in support of the Warehouse and Shipping department. The position assists in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments with both suppliers, internal and external customers. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for loading and unloading all shipments.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoading and Unloading shipments.Performs a variety of administrative duties that surround the receipt and shipment of goodsCreates, compiles, and run orders and reports using SAP and non-SAP systemsEnters shipment data via computer into carrier and customer portalsScans and uploads shipping documents, maintains diversified files and documents, creates and maintains various measurement tables and charts as required.Assists: ISO procedural documentation, audits as requiredCommunicates with internal and external customers, suppliers, and freight providersAssist in Inventory Record AccuracyAssist with housekeeping and cycle countingOccasionally work SaturdaysPerforms general housekeeping dutiesActs as back up for Warehouse CoordinatorPlace all inbounds shipments in designated locations.Helps maintain Inventory accuracy.Perform other duties as assignedPossibility to work second shift. Ability to prioritize and delegate as needed Perform all other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years Forklift experience.High school diploma or GED equivalentComputer skills: Microsoft office, outlook, excel, and Power pointAble to learn SAP transactions relating to Shipping functions using both computer and scanning devicesMust be able to drive a forklift and attain the proper OSHA certificationDetailed oriented and quality conscious, with excellent organizational skillsMust be courteous and a good team player. Customer focused!Must be able to manage multiple prioritiesMust be able to discern shades of color relating to material movement processMust possess basic math skillsMust be able to hear warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injuryMust be able to lift 50 pounds above the waistMust be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate and understand relevant informationMust follow all OSHA related rules and regulations as well as company safety policiesMust possess good written and verbal communication skills.NVA/Turret truck experience preferred.Aptar is an equal opportunity employer.
