Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. Candidates who have already applied for a Colorado license must provide confirmation of application.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Experience treating active, post-operative, and Medicare populations preferred.
• Minimum experience: New graduates will not be considered. First-time travelers are acceptable.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week, typically 12-14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
• Ability and willingness to float to nearby clinics as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinic workflows and productivity targets.
• Experience with post-operative rehabilitation and Medicare populations.
• Previous travel therapy experience or participation on a travel team is advantageous.

Assignment Details

• 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.
• OT hours must be approved by the clinic director before being worked.
• Floating required to neighboring clinics as needed.
• Productivity expectation: approximately 60 visits per week; typical daily patient load 12-14 with follow-up double-booking.
