Pulmonology Physician

Pulmonology physician employment in Rhode Island :

We are a large physician-owned group expanding in the Coventry, RI area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team consulting, overseeing NPs providing consults, with profit-sharing opportunities. We offer generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience working with respiratory patients in an acute, post-acute, or Pulmonologist's office setting.

• Provide comprehensive medical care toSNFpatients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning

• Ensureaccurateandtimelydocumentation in EMR

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Rhode Islandlicense

• Board Eligible/CertifiedinPulmonology

• Active DEA license

• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations

• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

SchedulingOptions:

• Part-Time10-20 hours per week

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.

• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds.

• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.

• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.

• Mustcomply withfacility vaccination requirements.
