Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator / Mechanical assembler to join our team in Northfield. The role involves working with hand tools, large impacts, and other power tools to build plenums, large frames, and overall large structures and equipment. Experience with cranes is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build large products and structures using hand and power tools.
• Work from blueprints to assemble large components for exhaust systems across various markets including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road.
• Assist with fabrication tasks such as operating a brake press, shear, and roller.
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop to facilitate learning and growth within the company.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with industrial, sub, and machine assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication work is a plus.
• Crane experience is advantageous but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
