About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist you will:

Conduct respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, and aerosol treatments
Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall health
Develop and implement customized respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with various respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma
Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic tests to assess patients' lung function
Develop and implement respiratory care plans in accordance with professional standards and facility policies
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
Participate in interprofessional team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans

Ideal Candidate:

Has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Possesses a degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
Is certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and committed to staying up-to-date on the latest respiratory therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
