Starting pay: $15–$16 per hour

Schedule and benefits

Morning shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM and end around 1:30 PM, but are more commonly around 8:00 AM–3:00 PM. Evening shifts are generally around 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with some mid-shifts. Closing is normally finished by about 10:30–11:00 PM.

Family meal is provided every shift. Sundays are off, and we are closed on major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Mother's Day. We operate three restaurants, so there is room for advancement.

About the job

Il Forno Pizzeria is looking for a full-time line cook with some restaurant experience. Pizza-station or Italian-restaurant experience is especially useful.

Il Forno is a small, fast-paced kitchen with a focused menu. We make and stretch our own dough and cook pizza in a traditional wood-fired oven.

Responsibilities include:

Balling and stretching dough
Assembling pizzas to order
Working a traditional wood-fired oven
Prepping ingredients for the menu
Maintaining and stocking your station
Scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
Communicating clearly with the rest of the kitchen
Handling several tasks at once during busy service

We are looking for someone dependable, organized and comfortable working quickly in a small kitchen. Good knife skills and pizza experience are a plus.
