Corrections Nurse: Greensville Correctional Center

*Job Summary*
The Virginia Department of Corrections is offering a minimum $3,500 Sign on Bonus for LPNs and RNs to team at Greensville Correctional Center.

Greensville Correctional Center is the largest facility in the state, housing male offenders of all ages. It boasts a fully functional medical unit

*Duties Include:*

* Screen health complaints
* Take vital signs
* Administers medication
* Perform sick call
* Develops treatment plans
* Completes tele-health appointments

*Minimum Qualifications*

* Graduation from an accredited nursing program
* Possess/Maintain a valid, unrestricted nursing license that is valid is the state of Virginia
* Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
