Oribe Tea LLC is locally owned tea company from Hilo Hawaii. We work with local farmers to source the highest quality ingredients which we use in our tea blends. It is our mission to support local farmers and our local community. Opportunities to grow with the company are readily available for any motivated individual who joins our team.
Job Description:
We are currently looking to hire a Sales Representative to serve samples and sell our packaged iced teas at local farmers markets on the Kona side of the Big Island. Markets include but are not limited to the "Big Island Market" Ho'oulu Community Farmers and Artisans market at the Outrigger, Kona Resort & Spa on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Waimea community market on Saturdays. and potentially the Queens market in Waikaloa. There are other events and opportunities available to the right candidate. This is a sales position, in addition to serving samples you will be expected to maintain a certain number of sales each week.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a dependable vehicle (not a shared vehicle) to allow you to get to and from events, with enough room to transport event items.
-Available to work on Weekends. Must be available to work Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
- Self motivated, honest and trustworthy person, who is clean, organized and ready to work!
- Can lift 35lbs.
- Has direct sales experience and/or is willing to learn sales, Meeting our sales goals each week is a big part of this job.
- Must have a food handler's card (If you do not already have one, we will provide the training to obtain one)
- Available to work 16-24 hrs./ week
-Strong communication skills are a must.
Starting pay
$22hr
Some commission is available for certain aspects of this job.
