Commercial Door Service Advisor - Columbus

Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer‑centric commercial and industrial door repair company, is seeking a motivated Commercial Door Service Advisor. Applicants must have at least 4+ years of door industry experience. Responsibilities Work with customers to provide accurate and suitable products and services that meet their needs. Follow up on leads and identify new business opportunities to generate sales. Collaborate with the Team Leader and Service Manager to achieve sales goals. Complete pending service quotes within the scheduled time frame. Provide technical training to Service Technicians. Manage and order shop and truck materials as needed. Assist with customer job scheduling and project management. Deliver the best Vortex experience to all customers. Build valuable relationships with all customers, including key accounts. Always promote Vortex positively. Use lead generation tools to identify commercial and industrial construction projects that may require overhead doors, initiate contact with general contractors and architects, and gather project information. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for new construction projects. Complete cost estimates within bid date and time constraints. Present and explain the benefits of our services to potential clients. Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system. Requirements Clear communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective listening skills. Interpersonal skills that balance customer and company needs. What You Should Have Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn. A good driving record with a valid driver's license. Experience in field service and commercial door sales.
