Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), including every other weekend rotation and some holidays. 4x12 schedule may be available for interested travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry and critical arrhythmias
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (Medical, Surgical, and Trauma) required within the last 3 years
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification); up to three attempts permitted under compliance guidelines
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or Level I Trauma center environment
• Familiarity with cardiac interpretation and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center setting
