About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

Bay City, MI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Interview, examine, and assess patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Consult with physicians to develop individualized patient treatment plans
• Create and implement therapy programs based on physician instructions and assessment findings
• Perform diagnostic tests including measurement of lung capacity
• Treat patients using methods such as chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, CPAP, and BiPAP therapies
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment and participate in quality assurance and improvement activities

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
• Active Michigan state respiratory therapy license required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NRP and NBRC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
• Experience with Paragon EMR system preferred
