Maintenance Mechanic Assistant

An expanding metal manufacturer in Minneapolis, MN, is looking to add a maintenance mechanic assistant to its growing team! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in a family-owned, supportive work environment.

Job type: Temp-to-hire

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $20/hr.

Hours: 6 am 2:30 pm, Monday Friday, OT on Saturdays

Duties of the maintenance mechanic assistant:

Assist with maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
Support troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime
Help with routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Assist in machinery installation and upgrades
Work alongside the maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues

Requirements of the maintenance mechanic assistant:

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
1+ year of maintenance experience or applicable schooling is desired
MIG welding experience a plus
Steel-toed boots
