Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney in Ontario, CA. This role offers a remote or hybrid work environment, with California residency not required. The firm values diversity and inclusivity, providing a competitive benefits package. Duties Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis. Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Requirements Minimum one year of workers' compensation defense experience preferred. Active California State Bar membership in good standing required. Experience with Defense Base Act/Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation is a plus. Proactive and client-focused approach. Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Comfortable in a paperless environment using web-based legal tools. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the California State Bar. Skills Strong work ethic and professionalism. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
