Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide essential respiratory care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, particularly in pediatric settings, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage respiratory care for pediatric patients.
• Perform bronchoscopy, extubation, and other advanced respiratory procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with significant pediatric experience.
• Current RRT certification, BLS, PALS, and NRP required.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be active prior to the start date.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
