Specialty Pharmacy Technician - No Nights/Weekends

Position Overview We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support patients and pharmacists at our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy, specializing in Oncology, MS, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant, and Gastrointestinal diseases. Key Responsibilities Assist walk‑in clients, make refill calls, set up deliveries to patients, answer phones, and process, fill, and ring out prescriptions. Work closely with others to process prior authorizations, copay assistance, and benefits verification. Engage with a diverse customer base in a friendly and confident manner, work in a team environment, and demonstrate motivation, organization, detail‑orientation, and excellent communication skills. Ability to learn new operating systems, pharmacology, and medical technology is required. Required Qualifications +1 year of pharmacy experience Registered pharmacy technician in the state of Ohio Preferred Qualifications Previous CVS experience Specialty pharmacy experience National Pharmacy Certification Education Verifiable high school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience Work Details Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: $17.00 – $28.46 per hour Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources.
