The New Home Consultant at Lennar is responsible for managing the new home purchase process from initial customer contact through closing, ensuring a seamless, customer‑centric experience that reflects our company’s standards of quality and service. Key Responsibilities Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home‑buying needs, utilizing the company’s selling philosophy. Self‑generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting. Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics. Provide consistent follow‑through with customers from initial contact to post‑closing, maintaining accurate communication records. Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs. Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes. Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (college degree and real estate license preferred). 1–2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools. Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is required. The position involves active office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions, including uneven surfaces, to and within homesites. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and telephone equipment, and the ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 25 pounds. Compensation & Benefits Base salary ranging from $33,000 to $33,176 annually, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and operational considerations. Eligible for bonuses. Eligible for commissions. Eligible for benefits in accordance with company policy.
