Pharmacy TechnicianHourly: $25.00 Shift: 6am - 2:30pm We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced correctional facility environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication to inmates, maintaining accurate drug records, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure the safe and effective use of medication. Responsibilities: Dispense medication to inmates as prescribed by healthcare providers Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and inventory Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any medication-related issues Prepare and maintain medication orders, including the preparation of intravenous medications Ensure that all medications are stored and handled in a secure and controlled manner Follow all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to the dispensing of medication Requirements: Current Pharmacy Technician certification At least 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Ongoing Assignment Morning shifts available Opportunity for Temp to Perm Staff with exceptional State Benefits Paid Sick Time Direct Deposit Weekly Paychecks Begin assignment within 2-4 weeks of starting process Note: Due to the nature of the work environment, only candidates who pass a comprehensive background check will be considered for this position.
