Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience
• Active Indiana RN License
• BLS Certification (required at submission)
• Epic experience preferred

Unit Highlights

• 29-bed Adult Med-Surg unit
• Fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong teamwork and experienced nursing staff
• Adult patient population

Common Patient Diagnoses

• Pneumonia
• Heart Failure
• Cardiac conditions
• Encephalopathy
• Infections
• Wounds
• Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
• Stroke/TIA

• Adaptable and resilient in high-acuity settings
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Able to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care

Schedule & Expectations

• 12-hour night shifts (7P–7A)
• Weekend and holiday rotation as needed
• Potential on-call/call-back (discussed individually)
• May float to similar Med-Surg units
• 3 call-ins may result in contract termination

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs
• No scrubs displaying competing healthcare system or agency logos

Submission Requirements

• No local candidates (40-mile radius rule)
• BLS certification and active Indiana RN license must be attached with submission
• COVID-19 vaccine not currently required (subject to change)
