Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Night Shift
Location: New Hampshire
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week.
Job Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients from infancy to geriatrics. Utilizing knowledge of age-related growth and development, the nurse will individualize the nursing process according to established standards of care and nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in a high-stress environment, adapting quickly to changes.
- Work collaboratively within the emergency department team, supporting first responders and hospital personnel.
- Effectively communicate with patients and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips and vents as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience.
- Active New Hampshire or compact Registered Nurse license.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- Experience with EPIC EMR required.
- BSN preferred.
