Job Summary

Medical Surgical With Telemetry Nurse in the Massachusetts area. This position involves providing patient care for a variety of surgical and medical patients within a 12-hour day shift schedule, every other weekend. The role requires proficiency in interpreting electrocardiograms (ECG) and Telemetry monitoring, with all Registered Nurses (RNs) expected to independently read and interpret their own strips.

Job Details

• Position Description: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. 3 North Unit. 12H Day shift, every other weekend. Epic experience required. Will be floated between all Medical Surgical Telemetry units as needed — Massachusetts licensure required at the time of submission. The unit does not have telemetry techs; all RNs must read and interpret their own strips and pass testing during onboarding. ECG/Tele test and medication test must be passed at first attempt, with a 85% pass score, conducted via Zoom prior to acceptance. Preparation for tests is recommended using the provided study guide.
• Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience of at least 2 years. Minimum education of graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Valid CPR and ACLS certifications. Epic experience is required.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026 and ending on 02/13/2027.
• Additional Information: The unit cares for a wide variety of surgical and overflow medical patients. Only medical exemptions are accepted for Flu vaccination requirements. Candidates must be separated from the employing healthcare organization for at least 6 months and be in good standing.
