Essential Functions: Perform building and grounds maintenance and construction including painting, wall repairs, door repairs, minor concrete installation and repairs, and any other jobs pertaining to building and grounds maintenance May assist Maintenance Technicians during machine and equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and installations May participate in TPM initiatives Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training; report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition immediately to supervisor Support and comply with all quality management systems and continuous improvement programs Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies): High School diploma or equivalent and formal training/schooling in building trades (verifiable on-the-job training or trade union school/job corps) 2+ years of building trades/maintenance experience 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience preferred Computer skills including Microsoft Office Ability to use hand power tools, work from a ladder and scissor lift, etc. Ability to read, speak, and write English to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions Ability to recognize and communicate problems and recommend solutions Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as vendors and contractors Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Expectations (Exhibit and Promote Company’s Core Values): People We engage, empower, and appreciate our people – they are our finest ingredient Safety We invest in systems, policies, and training that ensure safety Customer Partnerships We make decisions with the customer experience in mind and ensure win/win outcomes Collaboration We leverage each other’s unique experiences to drive the best outcomes for our expanding company Communication We inform and listen to our team members, customers, suppliers, and investors Results We prioritize activities that drive profitable growth, and we celebrate our achievements
