3rd Shift Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on 3rd Shift Production Manager to lead our overnight production team and ensure our product are produced safely, efficiently, and to our high-quality standards. work hours: 11 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 3rd shift production operations, ensuring daily production goals are met.
• Manage, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a positive, accountable team environment.
• Monitor production schedules, staffing, workflow, and productivity.
• Ensure all products meet Tate’s quality, consistency, and food-safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, GMPs, HACCP requirements, and applicable food-safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve problems quickly.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Review production reports, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper sanitation, organization, and housekeeping throughout the production facility.
• Train team members on safety, quality, production procedures, and company expectations.
• Communicate shift performance, issues, and priorities effectively to leadership and incoming/outgoing shifts.
