Nurse - LPN

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an outpatient addiction recovery setting. Responsibilities Include Providing basic medical services, administering medications like Methadone and Suboxone, and ensuring safe medication delivery according to regulations. Conducting assessments for new, quarterly, and annual patients, and responding to medical emergencies. Documenting patient records, medication transactions, and progress notes accurately. Educating patients on medications, side effects, and health topics; conducting urine drug screens and tests. Monitoring patient responses, managing treatment plans, and making referrals for specialized care. Participating in case conferences, ordering supplies, and coordinating patient appointments. Responding to emergencies, recognizing overdose signs, and managing clinical procedures like Mantoux tests. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse license required, with graduation from an accredited nursing school. Knowledge of infection control, patient care compliance, and regulations. CPR, First Aid, and BLS certifications. Preferred: 2+ years of experience with addiction or mental health disorders and psychopharmacology. Skills And Key Duties Strong understanding of medication management and patient safety protocols. Ability to respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care.
