SEH is currently searching for a Civil Engineer to join our talented Civil team!

This Opportunity:

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop designs for roadways, trails, sidewalks, utility systems, and site improvements.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports for public and private infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
• Perform site visits, field reviews, and construction observation activities as needed.
• Manage assigned project tasks and communicate progress to project teams and supervisors.
• This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the following areas: Virginia, MN or open to relocating to the area

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to collaborate in-office
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience preparing construction plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous civil engineering, design, or construction experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and topographic maps.
• Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $65,000 and $73,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
