Sr. UX/UI Designer

We are conducting a search for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our client’s product team in San Mateo, CA. This position is a long-term contract with a rapidly growing American education technology company working remotely from home. We are open to candidates located anywhere in Mexico. We are looking for a candidate that can commit to working a 40-hour week and efficiently operate on US West Coast hours (PST) to align with key stakeholder teams in our client’s headquarter office in California. Responsibilities Create visual experiences for user-facing web, mobile, and tablet-based platforms Transform wireframes into original, creative mock-ups in low and high fidelity prototypes Inspire users with attractive, compelling designs while maintaining visual consistency and brand identity Participate in collaborative feedback sessions with the wider design team and cross-functional teams Communicate with product team members to understand and interpret project requirements Enhance existing interfaces with new layouts, photos, graphics, and content Collaborate with our marketing teams to design emails, promotions, online ads, and marketing collateral Qualifications 5-8 years of experience in UX/UI design Ability to create user-centric, clutter-free, visually consistent designs In-depth knowledge of product design tools such as Figma or Sketch Thorough understanding of UX/UI processes, methodologies, design libraries, web responsive practices, and principles Advanced level verbal and written knowledge of the English language Ability to effectively communicate visually, verbally, and in writing Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple design requests in a timely fashion Experience in print design is not essential, but an added bonus Experience in education is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
