Full Time Joint Base Charleston, SC, North Charleston, SC, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1650 Position Summary The Site Manager will provide operation and maintenance (O&M) support for the Administrative Telephone System and cable plant at Tooele Army Depot. Service support includes but is not limited to:Customer Service (telephone), Switchboard Operations, Inside Plant, and Outside Plant (Cable). Individuals must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government Secret security clearance to be retained in the position. Duties & Responsibilities Provides management to complex communications projects which may include IT, Network, Communications, and Telecommunications. Supervises a team of multi-disciplined professionals; provides advanced expertise and proven experience in at least two of the IT help desk, network and system operations and support, radio communications, antenna/tower communications, and telecommunications. Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and team skills. Excellent leadership and management skills. Provides network and system administration support. Must be able to read, interpret, and develop engineering specifications and drawings. Understanding of technical documents, architectural plans, floor plans, site survey reports, test plans, schedules, procedures and acceptance test reports, equipment performance, operational test,s and feedback to the proper individuals/departments. Configuration management to evaluate proposed changes/upgrades to the infrastructure (hardware/software). Provides management and reporting of work requests utilizing the Army’s Enterprise Remedy automated work order system, to track and work customer requests. Inputs data of work requests that are processed in the Workload Analysis Report. Supports troubleshooting and resolution of voice/data communication installations, upgrades and problems across the enterprise. Manages training and certification of employees.
