College Student – AI Robotics Trainer

Role Type: Contractor
Location: On-site, San Francisco

We are seeking reliable College Students to support an innovative robotics data collection project. You'll perform hands-on tasks that help train and improve next-generation robotic AI systems. No prior robotics or AI experience is required.

Scope of Work

• Operate a handheld UMI gripper device to perform repetitive manipulation tasks, such as picking up objects and opening containers.
• Follow detailed instructions and protocols precisely to ensure consistent data collection.
• Reset physical environments between tasks and verify data quality.
• Identify and report hardware issues, unclear instructions, or recording problems.
• Maintain accuracy and focus during repetitive hands-on activities.
• Document observations and communicate issues or process improvements.
• Work closely with project coordinators and other team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good fine motor skills, dexterity, and precision.
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and extended periods of focused work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Able to quickly learn basic hardware and software.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in warehouse work, operations, gaming, gig work, student projects, or similar activities is a plus.
• No previous robotics or AI experience required.
