Must Haves: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience financial, accounting support, or similar business environment involving detailed recordkeeping, data management, and responsibility for accurate and timely work Strong attention to detail and organizational skills General finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience Microsoft Excel Intermediate proficiency, including: Sorting, filtering, and working with larger data sets Creating and formatting tables Basic formulas and functions (SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, percentages) Conditional functions (IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS) Lookup functions (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) Absolute and relative cell references Conditional formatting Identifying and removing duplicate data Basic PivotTables Importing and cleaning data Troubleshooting basic formula errors What You'll Bring to the Role: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in financial support, accounting, or related business settings. Solid foundation in general finance, bookkeeping, or financial operations. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets, formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables, and data reconciliation. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft polished client and team communications. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and streamline processes for better accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and reliability. Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with donor-advised funds or investment account management. Familiarity with financial platforms and custodial systems. Advanced Excel skills, such as creating advanced macros or dashboards. Prior experience in audit preparation or supporting internal reviews. Preferred Education and Experience: Some college coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration. At least 4 years of relevant professional experience involving detailed recordkeeping and data management. Additional Requirements: Ability to work onsite in Hudson in a business casual environment, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Must be available for an immediate start as this contract role runs through February 2027. Willingness to maintain compliance with organizational policies and participate in team collaboration via Teams and onsite.
