Support Engineer

Duration: Long-Term Contract *Final Round: In-Person interview (Mandatory) We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join the FIT Support Team and provide application, batch, user, and trading support within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL, Linux, Python/Scripting , and job scheduling tools, along with exposure to the BFSI domain . Understand and support existing applications and production processes Provide batch, user, and trading support Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and resolve code-related problems when required Analyze and troubleshoot application and system issues Work with SQL and databases to investigate and resolve production issues Use Linux commands and shell scripting for troubleshooting and support activities Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teams Participate in shift-based production support activities Maintain a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach Strong hands-on experience with SQL and RDBMS Strong knowledge of Linux commands Experience with Python and/or scripting Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Airflow, or similar Experience in production/application support Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work in shifts Exposure to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain Experience with Fixed Income and/or Multi-Asset applications is highly preferred Must be a local candidate who can work onsite 3 days per week Must be available for a second-level/in-person interview if required Must be authorized to work as a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or GC EAD #J-18808-Ljbffr RCRO LLC
