Separation and Deployment Product Owner

Description For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy’s mission to provide an affordable and credible strategic defense. The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need expertise to deliver new technologies while maintaining the technical requirements of strategic deterrence. Responsibilities Serve as Control Account Manager Delegate for the Mk7 Separation and Deployment Product, overseeing cost and schedule execution. Ensure delivery of separation and deployment products on cost, on schedule, and up to technical standards. Oversee scope including design, analysis, test, procurement, and manufacturing. Interface with Reentry Operations Center (ROC) to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and coordinate work stoppage dispositions. Collaborate with finance, planning, and technical teams to understand scope, plan budgets, and create schedule tasks. Administer Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices across varied engineering organizations. Ensure Control Accounts are managed with acceptable cost, schedule, and risk to meet sales and revenue goals. Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within assigned responsibility. Collaborate with all levels of personnel across functional departments, programs, and government agencies. Assist Program Managers and leadership with monitoring and evaluating project progress, problem solving, and developing detailed project plans and timelines. Support other duties as assigned by IPT Lead, including program management tasks. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience. Project management experience. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Desired Skills Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment). Experience evaluating programmatic and technical risks and developing mitigation activities. Experience leading or integrating solutions for geographically dispersed teams. Experience leading cross‑functional teams to resolve complex technical issues. Experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Long Range Schedules for cost and schedule projections. Experience managing subcontracts, vendors, and manufacturing. Experience with design, test, analysis, manufacturing, and systems engineering disciplines. Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Employment Status Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
