Technical Director

Position Description Gateway Church is seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Director to lead and oversee all aspects of audio, video, lighting, livestream, and IT systems. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment and is excited to use their technical gifts to support impactful ministry. About the Role The Technical Director plays a key role in creating excellent, distraction-free worship experiences while building and leading a strong volunteer production team. This individual combines technical expertise with leadership, organization, and a heart for serving others. You will also contribute creatively to Sunday services and help tell meaningful stories through video and media. What You’ll Do Lead all technical production for weekend services and special events Oversee audio, video, lighting, presentation, and livestream systems Produce and manage video content for services and digital platforms Troubleshoot and maintain AVL and IT systems Recruit, train, and lead volunteer tech teams Collaborate with pastors, worship leaders, and creative teams Manage technical budgets, equipment, and upgrades What You Bring Experience in live production (church experience is a strong asset) Strong knowledge of audio systems and working knowledge of video and lighting Leadership experience, especially with volunteers Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations Bonus Skills: Experience with ProPresenter, digital consoles, and livestream platforms Videography and video editing skills Basic IT and networking knowledge Who You Are A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a growing faith A servant-hearted leader who enjoys building and empowering teams Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented Passionate about excellence in worship and communication This is a full time position with a competitive compensation package. #J-18808-Ljbffr
