Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Tyler, TX 75701
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 8 Hours/Day
Schedule: 36 Hours Guaranteed | Up to 40 Hours/Week
Local Candidates: Yes – Within 50 Miles
Traveler Candidates: Yes

Pay Rate:
Local: $44–$49/hr
Traveler: $44–$49/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Outpatient PT experience preferred

• New graduates accepted

• First-time travelers accepted

• Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills

• Ability to manage a high-volume outpatient caseload

• Comfortable treating approximately 12–14 patients per day

• Ability to meet approximately 60 visits per week

• Comfortable with double-booking follow-up visits

• Overtime requires Director approval

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services

• Treat approximately 12–14 patients per day

• Meet productivity expectations of approximately 60 visits per week

• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional training

• Double-book follow-up visits as required

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans

• Educate patients and caregivers

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals

• Follow facility policies and safety standards

• Work up to 40 hours/week when required
