The Position

Metal Culverts, Inc. is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician/Delivery Driver in Maryville, MO (Monday-Friday, day shift), paid $21.00-$23.00/hour. This role exists to keep equipment dependable and production moving-while safely delivering product when needed.

Key responsibilities include performing routine and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; basic welding/fabrication support; maintaining an orderly work area; tracking parts and inventory; helping build and follow maintenance schedules; and loading, unloading, strapping, and transporting pipe.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Class A CDL (manual transmission) required
- Ability to load/unload and secure pipe properly
- Basic computer skills for parts lookups and manuals
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and willingness to learn
- Background check required

A Typical Day

You'll start your morning on-site in Maryville, checking what needs attention first and coordinating with the team on priorities. Some days you'll stay focused on the plant-moving between the shop floor and maintenance area as needs come up; other days you'll break away for scheduled deliveries and return to wrap up loose ends. Expect a steady pace, a mix of planned work and unexpected fixes, and time spent keeping things organized so the next task goes smoothly. You'll finish the day setting up for tomorrow and handing off any updates before heading out.
