Cath Lab Technologist

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for various duties within the cath lab environment. Key responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring peripheral/vascular cases, along with right and left heart catheterizations. The role may also involve scrubbing devices and participating in EP cases. Familiarity with computerized charting systems is beneficial, including XIM, EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, and Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems. The Cath Lab has eight fluoroscopy rooms and one minimally invasive room. On-call duties will require a 30-minute response time, with the expectation of one call per week and one weekend call every 3-4 weeks. The orientation will focus on monitoring in XIM and effectively performing scrubbing and circulating duties. No floating to other units or departments is required.
