Clinical Psychologist – Support for Veteran Mental Health – Pensacola, FL
Join a leading facility in Pensacola, Florida, as a Clinical Psychologist supporting critical mental health initiatives for veterans and service members. Location: Pensacola, FL
End Date/Duration: Initial 1-year contract with options to extend
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8.5 hours (including 30-minute lunch)
Hours/Week: 40
Licenses/Certifications: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist; BLS Healthcare Provider certification
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a licensed clinical psychologist
Hourly Pay Rate: $95.00/hour (1099)

What You'll Do
- Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, and collateral sources
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses following DSM standards
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy to veterans and active service members
- Assist patients in managing mental health conditions or injuries, including rehabilitation support
- Support psychological health initiatives aimed at closing care gaps for combat-related injuries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate coordinated, efficient care
- Follow ethical guidelines from APA and state licensing boards
What You Need
Required:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship/residency
- Active, unrestricted license in the U.S.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed psychologist
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Ability to pass government background check/security clearance
Preferred:
- Experience working with military or veteran populations
- Familiarity with trauma-focused psychological care and health initiatives
