Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
$19 - $26 per hourHorizon Dental
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a basic understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Job DescriptionDuties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take dental X-rays
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed.
Salary Rangefull-time $19 - $26 per hour
Salary based on Experience.

Requirements- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Skills
Learn practice management software.
Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively.

PreferencesFamiliarity with medical coding processes related to dental procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records
