About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray Tech experience License: Active license/registration required prior to start Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Bedside and portable imaging experience is required. - Experience with PACS is required. Description: X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience is needed. First-time travelers are accepted on a case-by-case basis, depending on experience. Shifts will be scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. The technologist will float within the scope to meet facility needs as required. The position includes requirements for adult outpatient and acute care imaging. Operating knowledge of general diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and interventional radiology is necessary. Competencies in required anatomy and orthopedic imaging are essential. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are required. The successful candidate will possess skills in various X-ray procedures for different body parts and patient age groups.
