Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a valid Alabama or compact RN license and BLS certification, with day shifts Monday through Friday and on-call requirements.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00–15:00)
• No weekend shifts required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview

Requirements

• Active Alabama state RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Pending license submissions are accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a local rate
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
• RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• The facility is located in a remote area; hospital-provided housing is available and consists of shared units with shared common spaces and private bedrooms (male or female units only, no dogs permitted)
• Travelers coordinate directly with the facility for housing arrangements
• The facility offers flight reimbursement for economy-level travel to and from the assignment; detailed flight and luggage receipts are required for reimbursement processing
• Flight itinerary must be submitted at least one week before the start date; the facility will assist with airport pickup upon arrival
