Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:


Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a 13-week teletherapy assignment focused on telemetry. Candidates will provide critical patient care in a fast-paced unit, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to telemetry patients, including monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Utilize GE Telemetry Monitoring systems to observe and assess patient cardiac activity continuously.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the MediTech EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced cardiac life support skills when necessary.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code (navy scrubs), and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification; ACLS and TNCC preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg and telemetry experience.
• Proficient in GE Telemetry Monitoring and MediTech EMR.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts, every other weekend.
