In close coordination with the Director of Marketing & Communications, the role is responsible for the implementation of marketing and communications plans for the assigned hospital, including website and social media content maintenance; internal communications platforms (employees and physicians); public relations/earned media plan; coordination and engagement in local community events and sponsorships; and placement of paid advertisements. This position is based in Versailles and requires travel twice a week to three additional facilities.How you'll contributeAssist the Director of Marketing & Communications with the implementation of local and organizational strategic prioritiesServe as on-site representation of marketing and communications with local stakeholders, as neededCoordinate advertising efforts with local hospital and regional/organizational leadershipPromote hospital services through various types of mediaResponsible for physician relation activities related to marketing campaigns, physician events, referral development, identification of opportunities to collaborate with physician groupsDevelop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally throughout the market area to position LifePoint in its community as a healthcare leaderCoordinate crisis communications with Director of Marketing & Communications and HSC CommunicationsRequired SkillsStrong computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPointDetail-oriented self-starter with strong verbal communications and excellent writing, editing and proofreading skillsAbility to take independent action to make sound decisionsCapable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervisionStrong project management skills with the ability to manage marketing initiatives from inception through completionEducationBachelor's Degree (Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field), preferredSchedule: Full Time: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM -5:00 PM with occasional weekendsEEOC StatementCenterpoint Health - Versailles Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
