Overview Job Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Position Type: Part Time Please note: This position is part-time, 10 hours per week, including weekends. Do you have a passion and heart for music and leading worship? If so, you may be our new part-time YTH Music Leader at Scottsdale Bible Church, Fountain Hills Campus! God has called us to use our talents to help shepherd and guide his people. Being a YTH Worship Leader is an excellent way to create a welcoming and warm environment for our students who come to seek and worship God and we need people like you to make it happen! As the YTH Music Leader, you are a vital part of the Team, responsible for carrying on the Vision, Mission and Values of SBC. In this role, you will report to the YTH Director of Music and are responsible for continuing the culture of worship in Student Ministries as well as to train up students to lead and serve in all areas of worship. For the safety and protection of minors and vulnerable adults, you will be responsible for understanding and complying with mandatory reporting laws, along with training any volunteers under your supervision (if applicable) to ensure adherence to these legal requirements Program and lead YTH worship 3 of 4 weekends a month Work closely with the Worship Arts Pastors to unify the musical worship culture of Scottsdale Bible Church Create and implement a philosophy of worship for the students of Scottsdale Bible Church (SBC) alongside the Worship Arts Pastor Oversee rehearsals and create a fun atmosphere for students to serve in Be responsible for the spiritual care of student volunteers Be on platform alongside the Worship Arts Pastor in the main campus service once a month Qualifications Knowledge of: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Technical systems Demonstrated competency in: Customer focus Action-oriented Problem solving Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Personal Qualifications: Committed to spiritual growth Relationally unified Servant-hearted Operates in grace and truth Education and/or experience 1+ year of experience in related role SBC does not participate in COBRA or Unemployment Insurance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Scottsdale Bible Church
