Job Responsibilities

·       Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments

·       Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

·       Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions

·       Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

·       Provide education and support to patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and discharge

·       Prioritize and manage care for patients with complex clinical needs

·       Support quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives

·       Mentor and precept team members while promoting teamwork and collaboration

·       Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

·       Participate in evidence-based practice and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

·       Active Kentucky RN License (required at submission)

·       Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience

·       Acute care experience required

·       Epic EMR experience required

·       Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma

Required Certifications

·       BLS Certification

·       ACLS Certification

·       NRP Certification

Schedule

·       Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

·       3 shifts per week

·       36 hours guaranteed

·       Every other weekend required
