Transportation Engineer

Fisher Arnold is seeking a team-oriented, experienced Transportation Engineer to work on transportation projects in our Chipley, FL office. The ideal candidate will assist with design and plans production tasks related to transportation projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide engineering design services for project plans development for transportation related projects Independently perform engineering assignments, calculations, and tasks Assist engineers in making updates to drawings and plans in CAD software Work together with a team to provide quality design services for transportation projects Work with Project Manager in obtaining approvals from DOTs, municipalities and agencies Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university 5 to 15+ years of experience preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Passed Fundamentals Exam (FE) or the ability to achieve certification Knowledge of CAD (MicroStation and OpenRoads design programs preferred) Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and Word) #J-18808-Ljbffr
