Berkshire Eye Surgery Center has an immediate need for a per diem Operating Room RN!

The Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse and hold an unrestricted license in the state of PA.
• MUST have at least 2 years of experience working as an Operating Room Circulator. New grad RNs or RNs without circulating experience will not be considered.
• Previous experience circulating eye cases preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Must demonstrate a cooperative work attitude with employees, physicians, patients, families, vendors and co-workers.
• Must possess the ability to work independently or as a team.
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
