Middle School Social Science Teacher

Provide direct instruction to middle school social studies students. Develop lesson plans aligned to Illinois Learning Standards. Plan, deliver, and evaluate instruction for students. Maintain the Teacher Gradebook. Utilize Differentiated Instruction. Utilize a variety of instructional methods, strategies, and interventions to maximize student learning. Actively participate in MTSS and PBIS processes. Continual review of student data (district assessments, local and state testing, etc.). Collaborate with special education teachers and administration. Attend staff and in-service meetings directed by building administration. Maintain appropriate contact with parents to support student achievement. Maintain the professional atmosphere of the school. Perform other duties in alignment with job classification as directed by the principal or designee.
