ABOUT THE ROLE

Ann Arbor Counseling Associates is seeking motivated and eager therapists to join our expanding practice. LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must hold a current, fully-licensed Michigan clinical license: LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) LCSW or LMSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Master Social Worker) LP (Licensed Psychologist) Exception: Limited-license holders (LLC, LLMSW) are eligible to apply only if you are on track to obtain your full license on or before March 1, 2027. If applicable, please provide documentation of exam eligibility and a credible timeline in your cover letter. Please identify your current State of Michigan license number and license type on your resume.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base Salary: $60,264/year (24 billable hours per week minimum) Total Compensation Value: $73,734–$97,134/year Compensation Structure: Base salary is guaranteed at 24 billable hours per week minimum (32-hour work week) Earn $75 per billable hour for each hour worked beyond the 24-hour minimum You can take productivity bonuses as cash compensation OR convert to additional paid time off—your choice Tenure-based salary progression: Advancement to L2 (19 months), L3 (37 months), L4 (55 months), L5 (73+ months) Example: Work 28 billable hours/week = 4 additional hours at $75/hr. You can take $15,600/year as bonus pay, or convert it to approximately 260 hours of additional PTO, or split between cash and time off.

TIME-OFF & FLEXIBILITY

96 hours annual PTO accrual (3 weeks) starting year one; increases to 128 hours after 5 years of service 9 paid flexible holidays (72 hours/year) which can be worked and converted to additional PTO if you prefer Bonus-to-PTO conversion: Convert productivity bonuses to paid time off instead of cash 30-day wait period before PTO use begins; accrual starts day 31 of employment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide ongoing outpatient clinical services to clients on a weekly or as-needed basis Manage a clinical caseload and deliver competent clinical care using ethical and evidence-based therapeutic techniques Work collaboratively to develop treatment plans and goals aligned with each patient's needs Deliver interventions, monitor progress, and document accordingly Utilize technology and electronic platforms (InSync EHR) for communication, treatment, and record-keeping Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and/or couples Meet with the clinical director/direct supervisor for performance growth and skill development Collaborate with administrative staff on patient care coordination Embrace a team-led approach in clinical work with respective patients Demonstrate passion and drive to achieve successful outcomes Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients Complete documentation (assessments, treatment planning, progress notes) in a timely manner

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Current, fully-licensed Michigan clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, or Licensed Psychologist) Submit a customized cover letter and resume that includes your active Michigan license number, license type, areas of specialty, and current and thorough job history Ability to work in a self-driven way that is autonomous and collaborative Foundational knowledge of clinical skills, treatment approaches, and treatment planning Strong communication skills; provide constructive feedback for the betterment of the team Team player who wants to be part of dynamic team growth Ability to share feedback to improve practice processes Strong proficiency with technology and computer-based programs for record-keeping, scheduling, and EHR Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills Adaptable High degree of professionalism Excellent time management skills Comfortable providing online counseling services Familiarity with trauma treatment Sense of humor

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work in a hybrid capacity and provide some in-person services 1–3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Great communication and interpersonal skills
