Assistant Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Assistant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead financial reporting activities by supporting month end quarter end and year end close processes. Review financial results account reconciliations and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Analyze financial performance and investigate variances to provide meaningful insights for management. Partner with operational and business leaders to support budgeting forecasting and strategic decision making. Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes internal controls and financial visibility across the organization. Requirements A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field. Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles revenue recognition standards and financial analysis practices. Possess experience with financial reporting account reconciliations budgeting and forecasting activities. Maintain advanced Excel skills and proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and reporting tools. Support audits internal controls and process improvement initiatives within a professional business environment. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial performance and resolve complex issues. Communicate effectively with finance teams operational leaders and nonfinancial stakeholders. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Demonstrate leadership potential through ownership accountability and collaboration across departments.
