Caregiver – Homemaker & Companion Services | Bonita Springs

WellTrust Health Group is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical homemaker and companion services to older adults in Bonita Springs and nearby communities.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing companionship, conversation, and social engagement
• Light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and household organization
• Simple meal preparation and routine meal planning
• Grocery shopping and approved errands
• Accompanying clients to approved appointments or community activities when assigned
• Providing routine reminders and helping clients maintain daily schedules
• Following each client’s written service plan and assigned schedule
• Completing required shift documentation accurately and on time
• Promptly reporting concerns, incidents, changes, or safety risks
• Protecting client privacy, dignity, boundaries, and confidentiality

This is a non-medical position. Caregivers do not provide nursing services, medication administration, hands-on personal care, or services outside WellTrust Health Group’s authorized scope.

Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Compassionate, dependable, respectful, and professional
• Reliable transportation to and from client assignments
• Comfortable working inside clients’ private residences
• Able to follow written instructions and service plans
• Able to complete documentation using a smartphone or approved technology
• Willing to complete applicable screening, verification, orientation, and training requirements
• Caregiving, senior-support, CNA, HHA, assisted-living, rehabilitation, or dementia-care experience is preferred but not required for every assignment
• CPR/AED, First Aid, CNA, HHA, or dementia-related training is preferred when applicable

Schedule

Schedules vary based on client needs and caregiver availability. Assignments may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shift lengths.
