Maintenance Technician [Direct Hire]

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technicians to help keep our production equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Install and repair motors, wiring, sensors, and facility equipment
• Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and maintenance equipment
• Support a safe and efficient work environment

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs and drives
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Technical training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred Experience

• Injection molding or thermoforming equipment
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• High-speed manufacturing equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, stairs, and equipment as needed

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, oils, plastics, and chemicals. Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is provided.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claremont, NC.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
