Details Float pool position covering 5 different Med/Surg-Tele units within a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts (PM shift) 36 hours per week schedule Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required Uses Meditech and Epic EMR systems Requires independent telemetry strip reading skills Must pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with 84% or better (up to 2 attempts) Requirements Active MA RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required Meditech and Epic EMR experience required Telemetry experience required 3-5 years of previous float experience preferred Must be adaptable to working across 5 different Med/Surg-Tele units Additional Information Provide nursing care across multiple Med/Surg-Tele units as part of a float pool team Must be able to adapt quickly to different unit environments and workflows No extended RTO permitted during the assignment Availability required most Fridays No specific schedule requests accommodated Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate American Traveler Job ID P-739590.
